Blackjack is offered in several versions with different rules and betting limits, so regulars and newer players usually find something that fits. At the craps tables you can play full pass line, come and proposition bets. Dealers walk new players through the layout if anything is unclear. Baccarat runs in three formats. Ruyi Baccarat is listed alongside our baccarat offerings with Asian-style traditions, EZ Baccarat is one of the baccarat formats offered without commission on banker wins, and Commission Baccarat is a baccarat format with a 5% charge on winning banker bets. During busy hours we spread all three at the same time, so you can settle into the format you prefer.

Our gaming floor covers about 60,000 square feet, with tables grouped in dedicated pit areas. Inside you will find higher-limit blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em with expanded betting ranges, and all three baccarat styles set up for larger buy-ins.

Dealers here receive extra training focused on high-stakes play. The speed of the game can be adjusted to what you prefer - a faster tempo or more time to think before each decision. Chip values are higher to keep large wagers and payouts simple.

There is no separate membership or entry fee for this room. You just come in, choose an open spot and buy in at the posted minimums. Alongside the tables, there are more than 50 high-limit slot machines. Beverage service and dedicated staff support run in the background so your play is not interrupted.

Game selection in the Fortune Room may shift with demand. When things are slower, we sometimes move high-limit play to fewer tables, but we keep at least one main option for blackjack, baccarat and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Poker Room Action Around the Clock

Our poker room operates around the clock, separate from the main pit, with its own dealers for cash games and tournaments. We spread daily No Limit Hold’em tournaments at 10:20am and 6:30pm, using that format as the standard.

Cash games are available around the clock, with dealers rotating roughly every 30 minutes. Most tables run No Limit Hold’em, from small blind games aimed at recreational players up to higher-limit tables for those with more experience. Quad 8’s Omaha is added during peak periods when we have enough players interested.

A Bad Beat progressive jackpot applies to eligible cash game tables. If a qualifying losing hand meets the posted criteria, dealers confirm the result and the jackpot is paid out to players at the table according to the current rules.

Online Live Dealer Platform

Our online live dealer platform extends real-money table play beyond Calgary to eligible players across Canada. You connect through a digital interface on desktop or mobile, while real dealers manage cards, chips and wheels on camera.

Video feeds show the dealer and table in real time. You place wagers using on-screen controls and watch the physical cards and spins resolve. A chat box is available, so you can talk to the dealer and, where enabled, other players at the table.

Joining Live Dealer Tables On-Site

Joining a live dealer table at our Calgary location is fairly simple, but a few steps help it go smoothly.

1. Stand near the table for a moment, watch a few hands and check the game type, current bet limits on the signage, and whether seats are open.
2. Wait until the dealer has finished the current hand and paid or taken all wagers. When the spot is available, the dealer will usually look your way or invite you to sit.
3. Do not put chips down or touch the layout until the dealer has acknowledged you.

When you sit, place your cash on the felt in front of you and say what chip denominations you want. The dealer counts the money, calls the amount to the pit supervisor and then slides your chips over. Cash should not be passed directly hand-to-hand.

Stack your chips by denomination, then place your opening bet in the marked betting area. In blackjack, we rely on standard hand signals instead of only words: a tap on the table for a hit, a horizontal wave for stand, and extra chips beside the original bet for doubles or splits.

After each winning hand, the dealer pushes your payout to you and you may collect the chips once they are clearly in your area. When you want to leave, take all your chips to the main cage for cashing out. Dealers at the table do not exchange chips for cash and cannot make change.

Senior Days Promotions

From Tuesday to Thursday we host Senior Days promotions that include reduced-limit live dealer blackjack tables. During set afternoon hours, the minimum bet on those tables drops to $2 per hand, which is well below our normal floor minimums. Current times are posted at the casino entrance and on our website.

Rules at these promotional tables are the same as at regular blackjack tables. Only the initial minimum wager is reduced; doubles, splits and insurance follow standard conditions and usual bet sizes.

The Wild Horse Pub ties in with Senior Days by offering discounted menu items on the same Tuesday to Thursday schedule. The pub is open daily from 9:30 AM to 2 AM, and reservations can be made at 403-723-4039.
